Creatures Among Us

In this series, I portray the comforts and worries of childhood.  These paintings are filled with beast-like creatures that seem more friendly than threatening, putting their arms around children to protect and reassure them.  But can a child be sure?  Children know things about the world that adults are not aware of.  They connect with each other in ways that exclude adults.
